Every Tuesday you have a current event assignment. Read a current newspaper article, go on line and get a current news article, use a current weekly/monthly magazine article. Cut the article out if a print source is being used. Include the name and date of the source. If using an internet site, print the article. Make sure the date is under the title. IT CAN'T SAY UPDATED!! You have to have an actual date.
Write at least two paragraphs of your OPINION! I do NOT want a summary. Just tell me what you think about the information you just read.
Staple your opinion to the article and turn it it.
GEOGRAPHY:
You will receive a geography sheet every Monday. This sheet must be completed by Friday and turned in.
TRIVIA:
There will be a trivia question listed on the board every Monday. This is an extra credit opportunity every week. Look up the answer, write the answer down in TWO, YES TWO, PARAGRAPHS, and turn it in on Friday.
